Day 1

Depart Dublin Airport, travel to Havana. Be met at Havana airport, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a guided tour of Havana begining with the fortress of El Morro before continuing to the modern part of town to see Plaza Vieja, Plaza de la Cathedral, Bishop Street, Central Park, Capitol, Museum of Rum. Visit the Cemetery Cristóbal Colón. Return to the hotel for your evening meal and overnight.

Day 3 

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Made in Cuba - #1 Rustic Revelation. This offers an insight into the state-run agricultural system and much more. Visit a ceramics workshop and continue on to research and development centres, gardens and production sites of Cuban agriculture. On a "finca", on which bananas, avocados, lettuce, mint and much more are grown, that are sold daily at one of the many farmers markets in the city, a delicious Creole meal with refreshing drinks will be served. Evening meal & overnight at hotel.

Day 4 

Breakfast at the hotel then check-out. Depart for Viñales in Pinar del Rio. Visit Vega Finca Hector Luis to learn all about cigar rolling & tobacco farming. Then visit Estacion Experimental del Tabaco to learn about the local tobacco-growing process. Check into your hotel in Vinales. Evening meal at local restaurant & overnight at your hotel.

Day 5 

Breakfast at the hotel then check-out. Enjoy a tour of the pioneering eco-village of Las Terrazas - now a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Visit Cafetal Buenavista - the ruins of Cuba’s oldest, partially-restored coffee plantation. See beautiful Baños del Rio San Juan - one of the best rivers for bathing and enjoying the water. Check into your hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 6 

Breakfast at the hotel. Stop in Guamá on the half-island Zapata. Enjoy an excursion to the legendary Bay of Pigs, scene of the failed US Invasion in 1961. Continue to Cienfuegos, a port city characterized by its French colonial architecture. Stroll over the Parque Martí with the nostalgic Terry Theater, where Caruso used to sing, and to the half island Punta Gorda with the “Moorish” Palacio del Valle and its typical wooden mansions. Enjoy a cocktail in "Palacio de Valle" before checking into your hotel. Evening meal & overnight at your hotel.

Day 7 

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Trinidad via Cienfuegos - the ‘Pearl of the South’ - a charming waterfront city & visit its Botanical Gardens. Enjoy a guided tour of Trinidad including visits to museum Histórico Municipal (Palacio Cantero), Torre Manaca Iznaga - ascent of the slave tower with a wonderful panoramic view over the Valley of the Sugar Cane Mills and Mirador Valle de los Ingenios. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 8 

Breakfast at the hotel. One full day for Cienfuegos and surroundings. Visit Finca Pecuaria La Sierrita & Botanical Garden - largest botanical garden in Cuba with more than 2000 types of plants and a total area of one square kilometer. Also visit of the hacienda La Vega Cattle farm where you will receive explanations about the Cebu and his way of life. Possibility of hiking or horseback riding to the closest beach, where you can snorkel. Evening meal & overnight at your hotel.

Day 9 

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Visit Santa Clara & the Ché Guevara museum. Arrive back at Havana. Check into your hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 10

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Continue to the coast and over a 37 km long dam to the nature and island paradise Cayo Las Brujas, an insider tip with beautiful beaches. Late in the afternoon return to Remedios.

Day 11

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Transfer to the airport for your flight onward to Dublin.
